Dr. Vianney Chimezie

Dr. Vianney Chimezie helps organizations adopt AI at enterprise scale without losing control of security, privacy, compliance, or trust. She has led global cybersecurity, AI governance, and data privacy programs across multinational organizations, designing operating models, governance frameworks, and executive decision making processes that enable innovation while reducing risk.

Profile

She does not just write the policy, she builds and scales the function. Her work transforms governance from documentation into operational capability through decision frameworks, implementation playbooks, executive dashboards, and reusable controls that engineering, legal, privacy, and business teams can adopt immediately.

Currently leading enterprise cybersecurity, AI governance, cyber risk, and data protection at a global consumer brands company generating over one billion dollars in revenue, she built an AI operating model from the ground up over fragmented, ungoverned adoption, architecting a governance and cyber risk program on Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI that spans the full AI lifecycle: risk classification, human in the loop review, guardrails, observability, and secure SDLC governance gates. She stood up an internal responsible AI center of excellence and was recognized as a transformational leader for the launch. She reuses and refines those same frameworks in a consulting and advisory capacity, helping organizations operationalize AI governance, and she commands the room at the highest levels, briefing the CIO, CEO, audit committee, and board.

Her influence shows in what she has operationalized. She translated NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, the OWASP LLM Top 10, and MITRE ATLAS into working governance, authored more than twenty two policies, standards, and playbooks, built an AI powered third party risk process governing more than eighty vendors under one operating model, and reduced policy exceptions by sixty two percent. The frameworks she has authored, including the Aegis AI Assurance Model and the ShieldIQ Multi-Agent Safety Framework, reflect a leader defining the practice rather than following it.

Her leadership spans the globe. Over two decades she has led in executive capacity across the United Kingdom and the United States at organizations including KPMG, First Command Financial Services, Capgemini, and Bank of Scotland, directing cybersecurity risk and data privacy programs for global enterprises, Fortune 500 companies, and regulated clients across financial services, insurance, healthcare, and defense. She holds a Doctor of Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence, an MS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, and a Harvard University Data Privacy certificate, along with the CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, AIGP, and CIPP credentials. A powerhouse at the intersection of AI, cyber, and privacy, she brings that global experience together in this portfolio as reusable instruments any organization can adopt.
